exploring for alternatives to DVD and HDD backups, having discarded Tape Backup
as a bad joke several years ago. After looking at several data-backup methods,
we settled on Datagard after their presentation to us. Now, (having increased
our storage off-line capacity via a simple phone call), all our backup, restore
and data security worries are over. Although we have not to date had occasion to
restore data in full, we have tested the web-based restore facility and found it
to be OK. We have no hesitation in recommending Datagard to anyone requiring
ease of backup and availability of data for easy restore.

The original upload of data takes a while. However subsequent incremental back ups are extremely quick – less than one minute.
No interruptions to processing speed etc when the daily/weekly incremental back up runs. I originally had the backup scheduled for weekly, but think I will change to do it every time I open the PC. It makes no impact on processing speed I can run it in the middle of checking emails!
